Who handles the data

What we collect

When you use the contact form, we store:

• your name, email and, if you provide it, phone number;
• the subject and the text of the message;
• the date and time of sending and of your authorization;
• a code calculated from the internet address of your connection, used only to block mass submissions. The address itself is not stored.

Browsing the site does not require registration, and the site does not use tracking, advertising or visit-measurement cookies.

What we use it for

Only to read and answer your message. We do not use this data for advertising, we do not sell it and we do not pass it to third parties for other purposes. The legal basis is your consent, given by checking the authorization box before sending (LGPD, Brazil's General Data Protection Law, Law 13,709/2018, art. 7, item I).

Who has access

Authorized Apetitoso staff, through an internal panel protected by a password. The company that hosts the site stores the data on our server and, when the message is forwarded by email, our email provider also receives it.

How long we keep it

Messages are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted automatically. You can ask for deletion before that.

Server backups are renewed every day and each one is deleted after 30 days. For this reason, a deleted message may still exist in an old backup until that period ends.

As on any website, the server records, for security, the internet address and the page requested in each access. These records are deleted after 14 days.

Third-party services on the site

The Where to buy and Contact pages show an OpenStreetMap map. To draw the map, your browser fetches the images from the OpenStreetMap servers, which receive the internet address of your connection. The WhatsApp, Shopee and Google Maps buttons take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.

Your rights

You can ask, free of charge, for:

• confirmation that we hold data about you, and access to it;
• correction of incomplete or wrong data;
• a copy of the data;
• deletion of the data and withdrawal of your authorization;
• information about who we share it with.

Write to contato@apetitosoalimentos.com.br stating the email you used in the form. We reply within 15 days. If you are not satisfied, you can also contact the ANPD (Brazil's National Data Protection Authority) (opens in a new tab).

Security

The site uses an encrypted connection, the panel requires an individual password and records who marked, deleted or copied messages, and form submission has protection against bots and a limit on attempts.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with the update date.
